HEY GENIUSES

Do you know how many rape victims drop their cases because reliving their nightmare over and over stunts their ability to move on? They don’t do it so their rapist can go on and live his motherfucking life, they do it so they can live theirs. When you see no light at the end of the tunnel (and having your rapist move to FRANCE and win an FUCKING OSCAR makes that tunnel seem pretty motherfucking bleak) OF COURSE you want people to LET. THIS. SHIT. GO.

But if the opportunity arose to have him actually serve time for the multiple crimes he committed then you’d take that shit up so fucking fast his dumbass head would spin.

The law is not JUST about the victim, it’s about precedent, if we let every criminal go because their victim said “I can’t deal with this anymore!” the legal system would collapse. She has forgiven him and chosen to move on not for HIM but for HERSELF, what other option did she have? He got off scot free! He was living the life, having friends, making money, winning accolades. He was the living the dream of all rapists.

Who cares if the judge was corrupt? That makes no lick of difference when the accused has confessed and then proceeds to break further laws by running.

This quote exemplifies the disgusting mindset of all his defenders:

“My attitude surprises many people. That’s because they didn’t go through it all; they don’t know everything that I know. People don’t understand that the judge went back on his word. They don’t know how unfairly we were all treated by the press. Talk about feeling violated! ”

ARE. YOU. SERIOUS?

So the PRESS, who in no way decide your freedom, are JUST LIKE rapists only with the written word! This just…blows me mind. I refuse to accept or understand this thought process. What is wrong with you people?
