Via Sociological Images:
…women do this [housework] disproportionately, even as most women work as many paid hours as their husbands. These are inside jokes for everyone in America. But this disproportionality is perhaps the number one cause of women’s continued economic disadvantage (compared to men). Motherhood, as Ann Crittenden explains, is the greatest predictor of poverty in old age.

HEY GENIUSES
Do you know how many rape victims drop their cases because reliving their nightmare over and over stunts their ability to move on? They don’t do it so their rapist can go on and live his motherfucking life, they do it so they can live theirs. When you see no light at the end of the tunnel (and having your rapist move to FRANCE and win an FUCKING OSCAR makes that tunnel seem pretty motherfucking bleak) OF COURSE you want people to LET. THIS. SHIT. GO.
But if the opportunity arose to have him actually serve time for the multiple crimes he committed then you’d take that shit up so fucking fast his dumbass head would spin.
The law is not JUST about the victim, it’s about precedent, if we let every criminal go because their victim said “I can’t deal with this anymore!” the legal system would collapse. She has forgiven him and chosen to move on not for HIM but for HERSELF, what other option did she have? He got off scot free! He was living the life, having friends, making money, winning accolades. He was the living the dream of all rapists.
Who cares if the judge was corrupt? That makes no lick of difference when the accused has confessed and then proceeds to break further laws by running.
This quote exemplifies the disgusting mindset of all his defenders:
“My attitude surprises many people. That’s because they didn’t go through it all; they don’t know everything that I know. People don’t understand that the judge went back on his word. They don’t know how unfairly we were all treated by the press. Talk about feeling violated! ”
ARE. YOU. SERIOUS?
So the PRESS, who in no way decide your freedom, are JUST LIKE rapists only with the written word! This just…blows me mind. I refuse to accept or understand this thought process. What is wrong with you people?

“My beef with Bill Maher isn’t limited to his shockingly stupid and derivative material. I’m also nauseated by his general attitude toward himself and toward other people. He’s clearly vainglorious to a degree that would make any rapper blush, and it couldn’t possibly be less warranted. He’s a short, unfunny half-wit who looks like Spuds Mackenzie with Dan Cortese’s hair. There aren’t a lot of grounds for arrogance there. (I mean, Spuds Mackenzie and Dan Cortese are cool, but Maher somehow finds a way to combine elements of two cool things to make something astoundingly uncool. Think of it like mixing BL Lime and Pinkberry.) I suppose he can be boastful about the fact that he’s got a show on HBO (whatever) and a large collection of sports coats, but Bob Costas can say the same thing and he’s not nearly as arrogant as Maher is.
“His demeanor is so repulsive that I can hardly bear to watch his show at all, but when he starts interacting with other people it really comes out, especially if those other people happen to have vaginas. I can’t count the number of times I’ve seen Maher look straight through a female guest and dismiss what she’s had to say despite the fact that it was more insightful, informed, and interesting than anything he himself could have come up with… He’s constantly harping on and on about the “pussification” of American men, which is what he calls the “trend” toward men treating women like human beings and taking their partners’ feelings into account (if only)…”
HAHAHAHAA I ♥ this bitch.
